A bit like church but not always

St Benet's is a bit like church, a bit like a coffee lounge, a lot like a home

The Chaplaincy
is open throughout the day, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.

There are three main areas in St Benet's:

  • The Chapel is a beautiful, peaceful space and is open for you to use at all times.
  • The Lounge is a wonderful place to relax, play games, chat, make yourself drinks, cereals and toast, even work. We refurbished over the summer and it now feels wonderfully homely.
  • The Quiet Room, a former library, with desks to work at or play board games on. The Quiet Room is also available to book out as a meeting room. For more information and bookings please contact Revd Ella Sharples via email e.sharples@qmul.ac.uk.

We have a regular pattern of daily prayer at St Benet's, to which anyone is welcome. The services are simple and unscary, everything is written down on the service sheet.

Our in-person services are currently postponed but email e.sharples@qmul.ac.uk for a zoom link if you would like to join her for online prayer.

Rev. Sharples has provided the followong resources to help during these dificult times.
